Ghaziabad: About 32 lakh consumers of the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation (UPPCL) in western Uttar Pradesh will now be able to pay their electricity bills on the Internet.
The on-line bill payment facility was introduced by UPPCL Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (PVVNL) in districts such as Bagpat, Bijnor, Bulandshahr, Gautam Budh Nagar Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Moradabad, Muzzafarnagar, Rampur and Saharanpur.
Consumers shall have to pay an additional Rs 10 which will be passed on to the service provider for making on-line payments, reports IANS.
Consumers will have to go to the website of PVVNL for making the payment.
