Sunil Kumar is new Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary

Sunil Kumar has been appointed new Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh. A 1979 batch IAS officer, Sunil Kumar had been earlier Additional Secretary HRD in the Government of India. He was also the Secretary to the Chief Minister between 2000-2003. A native of Haryana, Sunil also served as District Magistrate of Raipur and Dhar during his initial years.

New Delhi: Sunil Kumar has been appointed new Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh. A 1979 batch IAS officer, Sunil Kumar had been earlier Additional Secretary HRD in the Government of India.

He was also the Secretary to the Chief Minister between 2000-2003. A native of Haryana ,Sunil also served as District Magistrate of Raipur and Dhar during his initial years.

A science graduate, Sunil also did MBA during service period from USA. He was reverted to his parent cadre in August last year.
