DRDO developing cyber security solution

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) which is responsible for developing technology for use by the military is developing an indigenous technology aimed at protecting vital sectors like defence, railways and power. The technology will ensure networking systems are safe and secure, a top DRDO official said here.

Bangalore: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO)— which is responsible for developing technology for use by the military— is developing an indigenous technology aimed at protecting vital sectors like defence, railways and power .

The technology will ensure networking systems are safe and secure, a top DRDO official said here.

The cyber defence program is aimed at protecting cyber network in the country from malware and hackers, DRDO Director KD Nayak said at a seminar here.

He said that 50 per cent of the project has already been completed and the rest will be done soon.
