Lov Verma appointed Health Secretary

Subburaj appointed Secretary, Department of AIDS Control; Mohanty appointed Secretary, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA)

NEW DELHI, February 26: Verma, a 1978-batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre, is presently Secretary, Department of AIDS Control under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. 
 
His appointment is to fill the vacancy caused by transfer of Keshav Desiraju, a 1978-batch IAS officer of Uttarakhand cadre, Ministry of Personnel said in a release today. 
Desiraju, who was appointed a year ago as Health Secretary, was earlier this month transfered as Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs...
