Governor's grievance cell is now ISO certified

Delhi Lt Governor's Grievance cell has become the first in the country to get ISO 9001:2000 certification from BIS for efficient management

New Delhi: The 'Listening Post' grievance cell at Delhi Lt Governor's Secretariat has been accorded ISO 9001:2000 certification by the Bureau of Indian Standards.

The BIS Director General handed over the Management Systems Certification License as per IS/ISO 9001:2000 to Delhi Lt Governor Tejendra Khanna at a simple ceremony held at Rajniwas on Tuesday.

The redressal system has become the first to secure the Indian standards and international standards certification for efficient management of the public grievances.

The grievance cell was started in May 2007 to promote an open, people friendly Grievance Redressal System in the Lt Governor's Office.

The quality policy of the grievance cell is to promptly address the grievances of public, keeping with the rules ands regulations of the concerned government department and overall public interest.

It strives to redress the grievances of the citizens of Delhi lodged with the Grievance cell.

In the grievance cell, the complaints can be registered all seven days of the week from 9.30 am to 6.00 pm. The complainant can register a complaint in the grievance cell if he or she is not satisfied with the response of the concerned department.

All citizens of Delhi can access Lt Governor's 'Listening Post' grievance cell by dialing 155355, 23970003, 23970004, 23970005 and 23942664 from any landline or mobile connection.

This grievance reception and redressal system works in addition to all other existing departmental arrangements for disposal of public grievances.

Third Class site Not body picks up the phone

I am sorry to write that one you are advertising the Governor site is now 9001:2000 certified what is the use of it when no body picks up phone no action is being taken by the concerned department I think even governor sir is not taking any interest so what is the use

Dear Concern,

I hope you people take action against ISO certified pvt ltd companies. Hence my query is regarding a complaint against one of the company i worked with.
The name of the company is MACMILLAN PUBLISHING SOLUTIONS PVT LTD. WITH ISO NO 270001.
I've been working with this company for more than 2 years and now i want to resign from this company and i have completed my last month here on 30-Jun 2009.
Now i wanted to join some other company and from 01st July 2009. And I cannot serve a notice period here. So my manager has stopped my salary for the month of June 2009 for which i worked honestly.
So, my query is can you take any action again this compnay manager and company.

Please revert asap.

I would like to refer my grievance no. 90903800392 and 90903800401 logged in "aap ki sunwai". Also, there were several complaints logged with Delhi Jal board by the residents of 35 Block, West Patel Nagar. However, the problem is still there.
Our main concern is the non availability of bore well water supply which is not available since almost two months. We had made several complaints to local Jal Board office, but the same has not been resolved as on date. Water is a basic necessity and we are being deprived of it.
We want the bore well installed near Ramjas ground to be rectified or rebored, so that we get water for our daily use.
Please do the needful at the earliest.

M Block Saket New Delhi-110017 is suffering from severe monkey menace endangering the lives of school going children and senior citizens. The large number of monkeys move around in the resential areas and the park restricting the free movement of the residents. Is MCD aware that this is a metropolitan city and not a forest area and need to be kept safe from such menace. Will someone own the responsibility of looking after this menace which is bothering the residents for the last few months with no body to care.

The situation is still the

The situation is still the same. To top up the problem, the corporation water supply is coming only once a day and that too only for 15 minutes and at 5:30Hrs in morning.
Request the all concerned to provide atleast corporation water twice a day for atleast an hour.
Waiting for a favourable action and update.
