CSR spending optional under new Companies’ Bill
The Union Government is not making the corporate social responsibility (CSR) spending mandatory in the new Companies Bill, likely to be introduced in the Budget session of the Parliament, Corporate Affair Minister Veerappa Moily on Monday said. Delhi preparing for absolute e-Stamping
Delhi government has decided to completely do away with stamp paper of all denominations and shift to electronic stamping facility. The move will help ensure hassle-free transactions and prevent fraudulent practices. Currently, e-Stamping is applicable to values of over Rs 500 but government has now decided to abolish stamp papers of all denominations.

Haryana villages to have ' digital health walls'
Revamping the healthcare system in the state, Haryana government has decided to install ‘health wall’ in every village of the state. This health wall will display the sex ratio, number of expecting mothers, immunization status and the healthcare facilities available in that village.

Jharkhand suspends Aadhaar enrolment drive
The Unique identification project has come to a grinding halt in Jharkhand—a state that has served as testing ground for the Unique Identification Development Authority (IUDAI) for convergence of different schemes. The State government issued orders to all the Deputy Commissioners to suspend the enrolment drive with immediate effect.

Govt gazette is a vast ocean and not easily available. e-gazzette will certainly make the relevent information easily and conviniently available. Great public service.
Why priced? How collected? Credit card companies are not interested in small payments. Such attempts have failed.News papers worldwide make their publications and archives available free.
Is anyone answerable and accountable for not doing this e-gazzete for all these years, even though the govt gazettes are composed and printed by computer technology? What about State Govt Gazettes? When will they reap the benifits of IT? Is there no way to compel them?
'e Gazette' is a good concept and launching of this, empowers the 'wisdom' of the Govt. It further facilitates the public for obtaing the copy of the required notification instantly and with a lesser cost. In short we are moving towards progress.

As citizens who pay taxes the gazette notification should be made available in brief to all free of cost from the website.....some advertising can bring in a lot of money rather than make the system unusable th payment procedure....In case one needs a physical copy, the same maybe priced.
