It is an excellent idea to introduce computer education to children of Andaman and Niconar Islands through their schools. Computer education will open vistas of e-learning to them and they will be immensely benefitted.

Recently there have been a slew of news reports emanating out of Lakshadweep & Andaman & Nicobar islands particularly which has gladdened the heart of many an e-enthusiasts like me. The latest scheme is one more common sense approach to spread ICT literacy amongst the new growing generation. With the ever increasing penetration of ICT in out daily lives I am reminded of an ad when I was learning computers in 1995," In the next 5 or 10 years you would be considered an illiterate if you didn't know computers" I think the word computers should be replaced with any ICT tool to make it topical today. Kudos to Andaman govt. to think for the better and perhaps show a model how computer litearcy can be inculcated among the next generation. Great news and pleasing too.
