L&T bags Rs 1,195 Cr ONGC deal

Under the deal infrastructure at ONGC’s Hazira and Uran complexes in Gujarat would be upgraded by setting up additional processing units

New Delhi: Engineering and construction major Larsen and Turbo (L&T) has announced that it has bagged two projects worth Rs 1,195 crore from state-run Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) to upgrade infrastructure at its Hazira and Uran complexes in Gujarat.

The project involves setting up of additional processing units to enhance the gas production at the Uran unit by five million metric standard cubic meters per day (MMSCMD) and the Hazira unit by 5.6 MMSCMD.

The complexes will also have gas sweetening units, liquid petroleum gas recovery units, condensate fraction units, condensate handling units, gas dehydration units and dew point units, including other utilities.

"The scope of the contract includes project management, residual basic design, planning and monitoring, residual process engineering, detailed engineering, procurement, supply, fabrication, manufacturing, inspection, transportation, storage, construction, installation and testing, mechanical completion," the company in a regulatory filing said, reports IANS.
