MP to raise special auxiliary police brigade

The brigade comprising retired soldiers of Indian Army from Madhya Pradesh would consist of 100 Nayaks, 850 Sainiks and 50 Sainiks(drivers)

Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh State Cabinet has decided to raise a 'Special Auxiliary Police Brigade' for improving law and order situation in the state.

The brigade comprising retired soldiers of Indian Army from Madhya Pradesh would consist of 100 Nayaks, 850 Sainiks and 50 Sainiks(drivers).

Initially, the security personnel would be appointed for a period of one year and the period may be extended for another five years.

The first appointment would be given to those retired soldiers whose maximum age is 45 years as on January 1, 2011. An amount of Rs 10,000 per month would be paid to Sainiks, Rs 12,500 to Nayaks and Rs 10,000 to Sainiks(drivers) per month as Anubandh Rashi (Bond amount).
