Bhaskar Sen has taken over the reins of Kolkata based United Bank of India as Chairman and Managing Director

Kolkata: Bhaskar Sen has taken over the reins of Kolkata based United Bank of India as Chairman and Managing Director after superannuation of erstwhile CMD, SC Gupta.

Prior to the present assignment, Sen was holding the post of Executive Director with Dena Bank since November, 2007.

Bhaskar Sen started his career with Mumbai based Union Bank of India in the year 1974 as a probationary Officer. A first class honors graduate in Commerce and CAIIB, he is a professional banker having over 35 years of rich banking experience in India and abroad with exposure in various fields of commercial banking including foreign exchange, credit, international banking, gold business, treasury, merchant banking and cash management services.
