Six Bihar bureaucrats transferred

In a minor bureaucratic reshuffle the Government of Bihar transferred six senior Indian Administrative Service cadre officials

Patna: In a minor bureaucratic reshuffle the Government of Bihar transferred six senior Indian Administrative Service cadre officials on Friday. All these transfers will be effective from March 10, a government statement said.

State Development Commissioner Navin Kumar has been relieved to join the Planning Commission of India on central deputation as Chief Advisor.

Agriculture Production Commissioner KC Saha will now be the new Development Commissioner of the state. Industries Department Principal Secretary AK Sinha has been transferred and posted as Agriculture Production Commissioner.

Planning Department Principal Secretary Rameshwar Singh will take over from AK Sinha in the Industries Department.

Rural Development Department Principal Secretary Vijay Prakash has been posted as Principal Secreatry in the Planning and Development Department.

State Planning Board Advisor A Santosh Mathew will be new Principal Secretary in the Rural Development Department.
